The Tri-Towns Ambulance and Rescue Service, Inc. was organized in 1974 by community leaders in response to federal mandates requiring training & equipment. At the time, ambulance service was provided by local funeral homes, and consisted of rapid transport to the hospital.

Our site is dedicated to all of our Past Members that have served and protected our first due area and more.
Those members will never be forgotten and will be greatly missed by our department !!!

Hey... Yeah... You... Still sitting around your house bored?? Trying to find something to do on your days off.... Well how about you helping out your home town Volunteer department... Stop by your local Fire or EMS department for an application.

Tri Towns EMS is always looking for new members, don't worry about being certified, we'll pay for you to become certified. We offer great incentives. We also offer a live-in program for any members, must be 16 to join our department. If you would like to know more information, please send us a message!

We offer OUTSTANDING member benefits once you join, Great looking uniforms, relaxing TV rooms, with High speed internet, food for scheduled duty crews.. Just to name a few....

Tri Towns EMS Sponsors EMS Day in the Park !
Mon. May 13th 2013

TTEMS Sponsors EMS Day in the Park May 18th
TTEMS will sponsor a EMS Day in the Park from 12-4pm at Creekside park in Westernport. Local EMS stations from Garrett, Allegany and Mineral counties will be on hand to celebrate EMS week. We will have a moon bounce, face painitng, relay races and a possible Dunk tank. All local citizens are welcome to attend.

Tri Towns EMS Week (One Mission One Team) Activities !
Mon. May 13th 2013

TTEMS will have the following activities during National EMS Week:
Saturday May 18-EMS Day in the park Creekside Park in Westernport from 12-4
Sunday May 19-TTEMS Members picnic Creekside Park in Westernport from 5-8
Tuesday May 21-TTEMS presentation to Westernport Elementary Kids
Friday May 24-TTEMS Open House 4-7

Blood Pressure checks from 12pm-2pm at the following local Fire Departments :
Monday - Barton
Tuesday - Westernport
Wednesday - Piedmont
THursday - McCoole VFW
Friday- Bloomington

Other activities slated:
Westmar Middle School Presentation with George's Creek Ambulance (TBD)

Tri Towns EMS Congratulates Their New EMT's !

TTEMS is proud to annouce that Probationary members Dora Clemons, Ashley Spiker, and Bekah Spiker have all passed their EMT-B State Written and Practical Exams and are officially Maryland State EMTs. Congradulations on a job well done!!!!

New Creek Pays Final Respect to a Charter Member !
Thu. Dec 17th 2013

On January 17th 2013 Tri Towns EMS provided EMS Services to the New Creek Volunteer Fire Department as they paid final respects to a Charter Member of thier organization. Chief 38 (Dustin Amtower) expressed his appreciation in an electronic message conveyed to all departments that assisted during this time.

TTEMS Responds to MVC Involving a School Bus !

On 25 April 2013, at 1519 hours the Tri Towns EMS along with Squad 22 (Potomac Fire Dept) and Engine 24-11 (Tri-Towns Fire Dept) were alerted for the MVC on Main Street in Westernport involving an Allegany County School Bus. The bus was in the middle of dropping kids off from area schools when it was involved in a minor crash.

Tri Towns EMS has a busy couple of Hours !

On Monday April 1, 2013 Tri Towns was alerted at 1647 hours for a medical emergency at 18924 High Street in Barton. At 1705 hours Tri Towns was alerted for a burn patient at Moran Manor. While awaiting Trooper 5, George's Creek Ambulance was alerted for a call in TTEMS' first due at 106 Kolberg Drive for a medical emergency.

Tri Towns EMS Responds to the New Creek Area !

On Monday February 11, 2013 at 20:26 hrs Ambulance 50 and Engine Rescue 19 were alerted for an MVA on New Georges Creek Road just after the Moscow Exit. When Chief 19 went on the air with communications they advised that it was a head-on collision with confirmed entrapment both drivers still in the vehicles and there would be a total of five patients.

Southside Crews run the MVC with Entrapment and Multiple Patients !

Tri Towns Runs 3 Ambulances and Gets Mutal Aid From Mineral County !

On February 4th 2013 Tri Towns EMS was dispatched along with the McCoole Fire Department to Route 135 near the FPW warehouse for thetwo vehicle accident. Paramedic 351 responded and transported to RMC. Tri Towns EMS was then alerted to the McCoole VFW for seizures. Tri Towns responded all three of its ambulances.
